Trains return but one breaks down
There were delays on the Traralgon line this morning, while users of the Desailly St all-day car park in Sale will face some disruptions.
Trains have returned to the Traralgon and Bairnsdale lines this morning after track works in the suburbs required Gippsland passengers to use coaches for the last two weeks.
However it wasn't a smooth start with the 4:36 out of Traralgon breaking down near Yarragon.
Repair crews had to be sent while passengers transferred to coaches.
Subsequent services this morning have been running behind time.
Resurfacing and other works commence today at the all-day public car park in Desailly St, Sale.
Wellington Shire Council says the work will be done in stages but there will be disruptions and some closures.
Improvements will also be made to drainage, footpaths and landscaping.
If the weather cooperates the work should be finished in three weeks.
